Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today!

Here’s my Listers Gotta List Kit #11: Awakening in action. I’m using it this month to decorate Carmen – my Coral Carpe Diem – I use this planner to track my social media data.

This kit comes with an Elle’s Studio stamp set, a Prima Chalk Edger Pastel Peach ink pad, glue stick, light blue and white “Cross stitch” washi, LGL stickers, “Awake” diecuts, green library cards and cream pockets, Spring-licious journal cards, and Carpe Diem word strips.

Above is the month-on-two-pages spread. I love the “Happy April” diecuts – they are in a soft color palette and definitely speak “spring.” I used LGL’s Graceful (my personal favorite collection) Number boxes to label the days. Hmm, look, it’s Murphy keeping an eye on what I’m doing . . .

This is the Elle’s Studio Cienna Happiness stamp set, the Pastel Peach ink pad, the blue and white washi, glue stick and, hey, I think Murphy’s giggling – he sure looks happy!!

This is the cover page. I ran some washi across the top, added a long journal card (so pretty), and used one of the library pockets. I put some solid blue cardstock on the front of the pocket, trimmed around the edge and cut an opening so I could slide a card into it. Then I added some Honey Girls and an “Everyday is a fresh start” die cut.

This page has been Murphy approved . . .

This is the first week – it’s only a partial week, but it pretty much shows what I did on each spread:

Washi dividing the days
Date stickers
Word strip stickers
Die cuts
Stamped images

Here’s the first full week spread. I had fun layering stickers – doing this adds dimension to the pages. Check out the top middle of the left page where I layered a “fresh start” sticker over a pink sticker over a white and black polka-dotted sticker. I trimmed off the part of the sticker that hung over the edge.

This is the second full week. The colors are so soft and pretty – who says planning has to be just utilitarian? Don’t you love the honey girl in the bottom right corner? The butterflies? The flowers?

The third week is much the same – one of the huge benefits of using a kit is that the colors and theme are complementary – there’s no coordinating or worrying if what you choose goes together. This is just soooooo pretty!!!!

And . . . here’s the final week. An addition to this page is the journal card in the bottom right panel. I like to washi a journal card, creating a hinge where the card turns like a page. I can put something on the back side as well as under it. I outlined the words on the journal card so it would be easier to read – the letters were a little too washed out.

Here’s a closeup of the journal card – where the words are outlined and I added a sticker.

I put a bird die cut on the back side of the card and a clipboard die cut with “happiness” stamped on it under the card. How pretty is that? Oh my, this month was so much fun to create and it turned out so pretty.
