I love Cocoa Daisy Day Planner kits for a few reasons:
1. Time management – I can embellish my planner very quickly – easy peasy
2. Coordinated – all the inserts, stickers, and embellishments are coordinated by theme and color
3. Colorful – the images are really bright and colorful
4. Timeliness – Kits are shipped during the first week of the month prior to use allowing plenty of time to implement
5. Trendy – the sea (colors and creatures), this month’s theme, for example, is a common topic in the current creative world

In case you were wondering, the kit does NOT come with a month-on-two-pages spread. However, the website does offer two monthly free printables. One of them is the month-on-two-pages with or without numbers in the same theme.

The other free printable is a set of cards and a dashboard. They also have free cut files and dividers – I have not used any of these yet.

This is the free month-on-two-pages with numbers I printed for July. I added the washi tape to the edges. It has a foiled design that shimmers in the light.

“Sink or Swim” is one of this month’s free cards and the octopus is the free dashboard. A dashboard is a page at the beginning of a section that could be a graphic or an inspirational sentiment for the month. I also added a Today’s Love List of the things I am loving this month.

This is the back of my dashboard and my first week-on-one-page for the month of July. I plan on Monday, whereas many planners do it on Sunday. It’s just not practical for me to plan on Sunday – it’s a day for family and relaxation. I write the date on each day because otherwise I lose track. I’m on summer break and the days run together, I know, boohoo (lol). Also, I don’t like leafing through the month to find the week I am in. So, I put a tab at the top of each week-on-one-page section to make it easier to move from week to week.

We are having a family get together this weekend, so there are several lists to make for food and activities. I try to plan ahead as much as I can, and there is plenty of room on these inserts for list making.

Here is the week-on-two-pages section. I never know what to do with those cute clips – anyone else have that problem? They don’t clip on anything, so they’re not very functional . . . I guess they’re meant to be decorative??? I put them on the the binder rings, they look cute there. I like to put some sort of inspirational saying in each week to give me something to think about or focus on.

These are the daily to-do-pages. I haven’t found a consistent use for these. I do have a family get together coming up, so I will use them to organize and plan for that . . . if anyone else uses them on a daily basis, let me know how you stay motivated to fill them out every day???

I can see the hydrate section on this page being used. I am trying to drink more water this summer – hopefully it will become a habit by September. There is a possibility that I’ll continue using this section. However, it seems like such a waste if I don’t use the rest of the page??? Isn’t the fish in the one glass adorable and unexpected?

Happy planning and if you’d like to see some of my other projects, check out my Instagram and my Pinterest board.

As always, I’m Livin’ the Moments . . .
