This is what I saw when I opened the box . . .

I ask you . . . can a user experience BE any better than this??? That card sentiment is GENIUS!!

So, when you’re done taking in the beauty of this presentation . . . “Spontaneous Joy” (giggle) . . . on with the show, lol . . .

The August Cocoa Daisy Planner Kit includes:

• 32 double sided daily to do pages
• 1 double sided month tab page
• 5 double sided week in review pages
• 5 double sided weekly overview pages
• 1 3×5 Exclusive notepad (macarons and confetti)
• 1 5×7 Exclusive planner sticker sheet
• Cocoa Daisy Macaron gold clips – 2 per kit, assorted*
• Dear Lizzy Typewriter Sticky Notes (are not sticky notes – rather a notepad)
• Macaron Keepsake Containers – 2 per kit, assorted*
• Tassles Charm – assorted*
• Amy Tangerine Rise & Shine phrase stamp
• Fancy Pants Summer Sun brag cards – 6 per kit, assorted*
• 2 Pink paper clips
• 1 Gold paper clip

OMG, where do I begin? I guess first I should begin with the color scheme. It reminds me of summer, ice cream, a cool breeze, dessert, Paris, adventure . . . It’s so coooooool . . . Lots of hot pink, my second favorite color (my favorite is lime green, lol). I just want to have an adventure!!

The stickers are the same each month, so far. I’m trying to think of creative ways to use the arrows, hearts, and stars??

LOVE the macarons! The clips are sooo cute . . . and the note pad . . . and the keepsake containers. Lots of awesome macarons . . .

Not a fan of the phrase stamp. I don’t like how the stamps come out. I do know that the stamps come out better when you use good ink . . . the cheaper ink doesn’t stamp as clearly – I think it’s really hard to read the words – they’re pretty small to begin with . . . Yeah, not a fan of the phrase stamps in general, anyway . . . we’ll see how this one works, I’ll let ya know.

Here are the week-in-review and weekly overview inserts. They have the flower/summer/ice cream watercolor scheme going.
The drink tally section has a cup of tea/coffee in the images. I love the little surprise element of what they do with this section. If you recall, last month one of the glasses had a fish in it, haha.

This month, I gave in to temptation and got the Planner Add-on. Yep, that’s it above – it came in the traditional paper bag – which I happen to love.

These are the Planner Add On Contents:

• Crown Pen – assorted*
• Macaron Art Dashboard set – A5 & Personal sizes included
• Webster’s Pages These Are The Days Tags and Prompts stickers
• We R Memory Keepers Watercolor Washi in Sunset
• Dear Lizzy Plastic Bows made into Clips – 2 per kit
• Shimelle True Stories 4×4 cards
• Cocoa Daisy stamp set – Little Lists
• Gold binder clips – 2 per kit

Again . . . where do I begin? I’ve seen pens like this one on several planner blogs and instagram photos. I confess, I think they’re really pretty – I still have my favorite pens, but these are so cool looking. I mean, really, polkadots . . . a crown . . . pearl on the crown . . . How can you go wrong??? It’s just pretty, okay???? I’ll let you know if it lives up to its looks.

The washi tape is really unusual – it’s striped (not unusual) – and ombre (also, not unusual) – but the ombre goes vertical down the stripe. It looks really different – I LIKE different.

The Dear Lizzy Plastic Bows are super pretty and more practical than paper ones. I’ve made paper bows in the past, glued them onto paper clips, and clipped them on my Planner. They don’t last very long – I guess you’re supposed to laminate them, but still . . . Plastic bows . . . Just plain ingenious (again!!).

So, that’s my August Cocoa Daisy Planner Kit and Limited Edition Add-on. Stay tuned for what I did with it in my Planner. If you have any questions or techniques you want to see, let me know in the comments.
