I love inspirational quotes, and I find it really useful for my state of mind to put them where I will see them often. This is one that came in the August Cocoa Daisy Day Planner Add-on kit. For me, “intention” is the key word here and I try to live every day . . . every moment . . . with intention.

These are Cocoa Daisy Day Planner Freebies of the month-a-glance. They are in the same theme as the Planner kit. Just as summery/dreamy/watercolory . . .

Then I use my paper trimmer, cutting them out along the indicated crop marks and hole punch them with my paper punch – I ordered it on Amazon, and I use it ALL THE TIME! So worth not having to use a single hole punch. Um, yeah, sometimes I forget to change the hole spacing and have to print again. Tip: If you can’t print again for some reason, put some pretty washi tape over the first set of holes and punch again. Problem solved!!

These are the freebie dashboard and cards for the month of August. I am using the dashboard as a bookmark, signaling the beginning of the month. And I use the cards as bookmarks for the weeks. I HATE leafing through pages trying to find the week/section I want. Problem solved!!!

Here are the first two pages of my August planner.

Again, I used the freebie printable as a bookmark.

Oh, isn’t the Audrey clip adorable??? I got it from ruevogueshop on etsy. She’s so so so cute!!

I made the ribbon clip from some scrap ribbon I have – there are LOTS of YouTube videos demonstrating how to make them – super easy.

Oh yeah . . . Note To Self: Start with washi tape – it’s hard to fit in after I’ve put stickers in and started filling out the pages.

So, here is the first week. My planner is a personal pink Filofax Domino – so I use a pink pen, and it just happens to go perfectly with this month’s color scheme, don’t ya think?

I mentioned my dislike of the phrase stamp – I tried to use it a few times – still don’t particularly like the way the stamps come out – too small, blurry, hard to get a good image. The more I use Close to My Heart (CTMH) acrylic stamps and ink, the more I appreciate them. The images are sooooo much better. The green heart above was made with a stamp from the Cocoa Daisy add-on kit. Part of the image didn’t stamp, and the top of the heart has a white section – I think that’s from the stamp spreading out when I put pressure on it. I’m thinking the acrylic is not as high a quality as CTMH and smooshes when you put pressure on it???? And yet, the bottom part of the heart didn’t stamp. Again ??????? Not too happy with the stamps.

The August Cocoa Daisy Day Planner kit is my favorite so far. I LOVE the color scheme, the macaron clips, the macaron containers, the cards, and the scooter/adventure/summer/dreamy/Paris theme.
