Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m working on my 2017 December Daily Foundation Pages. Once the foundation pages are set up, all I have to do is add my photos and journaling.

I got a kit from Layle Koncar that includes instructions, a binder, inserts, a roller stamp, plaid washi, numbers, jingle bells, paper, stickers, cardstock die cuts and patterned paper.

Above is the inside of the cover – I haven’t decided what to put there yet . . . a special picture of something that happens this month . . .

On the right is “the reason why” – my introduction to the book – and a sheet of acetate from my December Cocoa Daisy Kit that serves as a background.
This is Day 1 – it’s a circle with a slice off one side and an awesome vintage Santa smiling at me . . .
I’m combining two spreads together so there aren’t so many pictures. The top shows Day 1 on the left – the ‘comfort and joy’ card folds back to show a picture, and Day 2 on the right is part of a 2×2 pocket page.

The bottom pic on the left is the backside of Day 2 and a full page of a snow-covered tree is on the right.
Top left is Day 3 – a lined page and on the right is Day 4, which is a numbered ‘making a list’ page.

The bottom left is a small insert for a pic and on the right is Day 5, where I stamped ‘Happy Holidays’ repeatedly all over the 5 die cut.
The top pic of Day 6 has a space for a pic on the left and a journaling card, and the ‘we wish you a merry Christmas’ card flips up to reveal the 6.

On the bottom is Day 7 with a place for a smaller pic on the left and an awesome DECEMBER cutout insert on the right.
Day 8 is a simple two-page spread with graph paper – this makes lining up photos and writing the story a snap.

At the bottom is Day 9 with a full page on the left for photos, and on the right is a pocket with a tag I can pull out for journaling.
The Day 10 page at the top photo folds out to the right, and the bottom shows Day 11 on the left and Day 12 on the right – I’m going to make it a shaker on the left edge under the 12.
Day 13 is the cup of hot cocoa -there’s a space for 2 4×4 pics. The bottom is Day 14 – not really sure what I’m going to do with the calendar . . .
Day 15 is at the top with a full graph page on the right for photos and journaling.

And Day 16 is on the bottom with a full page of wood planks on the left and room for two 3×4 pics in the right pockets.
The top photo has room for 2 photos for Day 17 and a place to list traditions on the insert to the right.

The bottom photo is Day 18 – space for a small photo and some journaling.
Day 19 is at the top – the left side has room for journaling and the right side has a pocket for a photo.

The bottom is for Day 20 – plenty of room for a photo and journaling on the left, and a pocket for cards, tickets, stickers, or whatever I collect.
In the top pic are Day 21 and 22. For Day 21, I made a pocket out of the postcard, and Day 22 needs a 4×4 pic with the green gingham as a border.

The bottom pic is for Day 23, there’s a space for a 4×4 pic on the left.
Day 24 is at the top – there’s space for a pic on the green gingham and on the right are three pockets and space for journaling.

The bottom pic is for Christmas Day – since our kids are grown up and have their own family Christmas’s, we go to church and sometimes a movie, perfect place to record whatever we do that day . . .
More space for Christmas Day pics in the top pic and the bottom left page. The Christmas Countdown is an extra page – since I use a calendar, not sure what I’ll do with this . ..
Here’s the inside of the back cover – I made a pocket for any extra stuff – stickers, tags, extra pics. I will still add two days from November at the beginning (Black Friday and a family Christmas party), and December 26 to 31 (extra things I want to add, our final family Christmas party is December 30, and New Year’s Eve).

There it is, all set up – since the designing is done, all I have to do is document our 2017 Christmas memories. Can’t wait . . .
