Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m working on my 2017 December Daily Cover and Supplies.
I got a kit from Layle Koncar that includes instructions, a binder, inserts, a roller stamp, plaid washi, numbers, jingle bells, paper, stickers, cardstock die cuts and patterned paper. The binder is above and has a woodgrain background, red “merry”, large white snowflakes, stars, red snowflakes, and white dots.
The inside of the binder is lined with red and white diagonal stripes. And a full set of inserts is included.
The best part of buying this particular kit is the set of instructions that’s included. A Lot Of Planning goes into designing the pages and this should make the process so much easier – now I can focus on telling the stories . . .
Here’s a pic of all the supplies in the kit.
A stitchintime has free calendars every year that you can download – there are usually three to choose from. I chose the one above because it goes perfectly with the kit.
Here are the choices this year – blue with pine trees and prancing reindeer, a vintage red van with a tree on top and stars, and the plain blue shadow lettered December. All you have to do is download the one you want.
Above is the finished cover. I used pop dots to attach the snowflakes over the covers’ snowflakes and added pearls to the white dots. Then I wrapped red and white twine around the front, tied jingle bells and a die cut to the ends and voila, the cover is done. It’s so easy when someone else tells you what to do and you already have the supplies. Just sayin’ . . .
