Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making an SVGCuts Tea Time Box Card from their Box Cards SVG Kit.

Above is a screenshot of the files in Cricut Design Space 3. As always, it looks like a lot of pieces, but they’re done one-step-at-a-time.

When using SVGCuts files, remember to change to scorelines to cut and attach them AND change the numbers to write and attach them. Otherwise, they will be on a separate mat.

Also, almost all of SVGCuts kits have assembly videos – I watch the assembly video all the way through, and then I watch it again as I am assembling my project.
Here are the cutout pieces. I used the Close To My Heart Happy Times” paper pack from the summer of 2016 and CTMH White Daisy. I used two fonts – Cricut Sans for “MAKE A” and Soiree Lettering Grace Script for “Wish.”
I used the embossing folder that came with my eBosser for the panels – the folder is not labeled, so I have no idea what the name of it is, but isn’t it pretty?
Most of the edges of the pieces were inked with CTMH ink, as seen above.
The sentiment was stamped using the CTMH Holiday Tags stamp set #D1560 and Fern ink.
Next, the panels are assembled according to the pdf that is included with the files and the video from the SVGCuts website.
Here, I attached the panels to the card base.
The card base is assembled into a box in the top left photo, the front insert is attached in the top right. The bottom left photo shows the middle insert attached, and the bottom right photo has the back insert attached.
Here’s the finished card. I added an acrylic flower in front of the teapot and some small gems to the top of the teapot and the top of the bonbon tray.
An awesome feature of box cards is that they fold flat and fit into an envelope. The recipient just has to unfold it when it is opened. Reminder, I always put an extra stamp on box cards – this one is square and lumpy.

As always, I’m Livin’ the Moments . . .
