Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making the SVGCuts Pumpkin Cottage.

Above is a screen shot of the files in Cricut Design Space 3. Lots and lots of pieces – when making large projects like this, keep in mind that you’ll go one step at a time, and before you know it, you’re done.

SVGCuts has assembly videos on their website, where Mary completes the ENTIRE project on the video. I always watch the video all the way through, and then watch, pause, watch, pause, watch, pause, a second time through.
SVGCuts files are my favorite – however, there are three things to remember when using their files: #1 – change the scorelines from cut to score; #2 – change the number labels from cut to write; #3 – attach the scorelines and number labels (otherwise they show up on a mat by themselves . . . you don’t want that).

Here are all the pieces. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Chocolate, Cocoa, Fern, Colonial White, CTMH Enchantment and Basics Fundamentals cardstock, Vellum from my stash, and the orange hashtag cardstock is from the DCWV Eek-A-Boo paper pad.

Yep, lots of pieces – one step at a time . . .
I edged most of pieces with CTMH Chocolate ink.
For step-by-step assembly instructions, watch the videos – above left are the pieces for the front door section and on the right you see the the completed section.
This is a window section.
I glued the numbered cottage sections together. Here is a front view of the completed cottage.
You can see the labeled sections on the bottom. I took a pic of the inside to show the attention to detail in these projects – there’s an octagonal piece that covers the bottom – ha!! – now you can’t see my gluey mess!!!!
Roof pieces were embossed with the WRMK Scales embossing folder, and the base trim was embossed with the CTMH Woodgrain embossing folder.
Here are the base pieces.
On the left is the bottom of the base, the center pic shows how a box is assembled and put in the center of the base to provide support, and the right pic shows the base top, grass, and fence attached.
These are some closeups of the base trim.
Here is the finished cottage. Next is the roof . . .
The top pic shows the numbered chimney pieces, and the bottom shows the completed chimney.
On the left are the roof pieces, the center pic shows the assembled roof, and the right pic shows the roof with the embossed panels attached.
Here’s the finished SVGCuts Pumpkin Cottage. This is by far the best completed SVGCuts building I’ve made. I. Love. It.

Hey, if you’d like to see some of my other projects, check out my Instagram and Pinterest board, and I would LOVE it if you would follow me.

As always, I’m Livin’ the Moments . . .
