Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making an SVGCuts Easter Egg Box Card from their “Springtime Box Cards” kit.

Above is a screenshot of the pieces in Cricut Design Space. Box cards are my favorite cards to make – they’re easy and yet look really complicated and impressive, lol.
Here are the cutout pieces. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Lemon, Tangerine, and White Daisy. The patterned papers are from the DCWV ‘The Glitter Stack” and ‘The Linen Closet.” Yeah, yeah, yeah, it looks like a lot of pieces . . . One. Step. At. A. Time.
Not only do SVGCuts kits have step-by-step assembly videos on their website, but the downloads also come with menu pdf’s with labeled pictures of the pieces, explanations when needed, and graphics like the one above. This one shows how to assemble Insert 1.
Here are my Insert 1 pieces and the assembled insert.
This graphic shows the inserts separately.
Inserts 2 and 3 are above – notice the numbers on the tabs identifying them.
This is the box card base – the top pic shows the pieces and the bottom pic shows the panels attached. Easy peasy.
Here is the box card base assembled on the left and the back panel attached on the right.
The front pieces are on the left. The flowers are ridiculously easy – color the centers, put three petals together by inserting a brad through the petal holes and then through the holes on the front piece. Ha! Done!
Here’s the front piece attached to the card base.
Bend the tabs forward and attach Insert 1 – lining up the top of the tabs with the top of the card base.
Attach Insert 2 behind Insert 1.
Finally, add Insert 3 behind Insert 2 – the tabs keep the inserts spaced apart perfectly.
Isn’t the front view awesome? You can see straight through to the back panel!!!!!!!
Here’s the finished card – another beautiful project completed! Happy Easter!!!!!
