Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making an SVGCuts 2017 Graduation Card.

This is a free svg file on their website under the “Free Designs” tab, and it’s sized “just right to hold cash or a personal check.”

Uploading svg files into Cricut Design Space is really easy – you download the file onto your computer (this one is free), click the ‘Upload Images’ button on the left toolbar in CDS, and follow the instructions in each screen that comes up. It is soooo easy, and soooo worth the effort.
Here are the cutout pieces. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Peacock, Sea Glass and White Daisy. The font is Anna Griffin’s Soiree Lettering – Grace.
This is the front of the card – the Peacock ‘2017’ piece is layered over a Sea Glass piece to add dimension. I love the Sea Glass stripe across the top.

SVGCuts has a way of adding little details that make all the difference, such as the rounded corners and the cutout star – how cool is that?????
The file includes an awesome envelope.

In the left picture you see the outside of the envelope. I used my Cricut Explore to write my niece’s name and the word “Congrats” on the flap.

The center pic shows the inside of the envelope with a liner – another small detail that makes the finished envelope look really nice.

In the right pic you can see that I glued the bottom flap onto the side flaps. I love the curves, and how the inside liner will show when the card is opened.
Here’s the finished card. I added Nuvo Crystal Drops in ‘Silver Lining’ to accent the stripe on the front of the card and the labels on the envelope.

This was an unbelievable easy card that came out beautiful!!!!
