Birthday Card Screen Shot

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! A friend’s birthday is on Halloween and she came to visit, so I made a Halloween Birthday Card. I used an svgcuts file from the Elmhurst Hollow projects.

When using an svgcuts file, make sure you attach the score lines, otherwise they are separate. Also, I always change my scorelines to score rather than cut, unless you like them cut, of course.

Here’s the front of the card. I used glitter glue on the bats, fence, and the layers of the flower. I used a Tim Holtz Halloween brad to hold the flower together and to attach it to the fence.

I used Close to My Heart cardstock in black, eggplant, and the Nevermore paper pack. Doesn’t the paper I used for the moon look like the moon?? Too cool!!

Here’s the inside of the card. I used the Halloween Spider font from dafont.com for the text, and I used CTMH Sunset cardstock for the insert.

Here’s the finished card, with its envelope. The envelope was also in the file – I like the rounded corners of this envelope, plus the card fits perfectly.

The fence sticks out from the card about 1/2”, and with the flower attached it stands up. I love svgcuts files – they always come out perfectly!!
