Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m demonstrating the We R Memory Keepers Banner Punch Board.
I have a new granddaughter and wanted to make a banner for when she came home, so I got the WRMK Banner Punch Board – their punch boards are so, so easy to use!!
Above is a shot of the punch board – it has a cutter (in the very center), a hole punch (at the very top), a hinged clear plastic track with magnets to hold the paper in place, a grid for paper placement, and brief step-by-step instructions.
The above sheet comes in the packaging. On the left is a cm chart and on the right are detailed instructions that include graphics.
There is also an “additional product information” sheet that says to cut the paper to the width and height you want before cutting the shape out.
I cut my paper to 6” wide by 8” high, raised the track, centered it on the board, and lowered the track.
You can make banners from 1” to 6” wide and 1” to 8 1/2” high.
Starting on the right side, I fit the cutter into the track on the right side and pulled it diagonally toward the center.
Then I fit the cutter into the the track on the left side and pulled it diagonally toward the center.
The top pic shows the cut, and the bottom pic shows the extra paper removed, and the dovetail edge.
Finally, I put the top corners of the banner piece under the hole punch and punched the holes for the string.
This whole process probably took less than a minute for each banner piece.
Here’s the completed banner – this was soooooo easy!!
