August 2017 scribbleprintsco Mystery Ultimate Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! Here’s the August 2017 scribbleprintsco Mystery Ultimate Kit.

Hmm, that sticker looks like fish scales . . . waves . . . mermaids . . . whatcha think????
The stickers are inside a plastic sealed bag and the sticky notes are separate – muted pastel colors, large sequins.
Above are the freebie mini sheet of deco (bottom left) as well as the extra items.

There is a large sheet of glitter headers (the glitter is large sequins – it’s awesome), flags, and quarter boxes.

On the right are four fashion girl stickers with a mermaid background and various skin colors.

On the bottom is a mini sheet of nail polish (the colors are sequins – including gray) in various skin-colored hands – this will be exclusive to subscribers starting with the September kit.

The green ombre sticky note pad is exclusive to subscribers (you can’t buy it in her shop) with the days of the week in a vertical orientation and a large green sequin border.
The left sticker sheet has a full deco box of a seahorse, washi, and the days of the week (they fit perfectly in the Erin Condren planner).

The other sheet has solid washi and little things labels.
On the left is the functional sheet with sequins on the background – habit tracker, weekend banner, flags, icons, and checklists.

The right sheet includes washi with mermaid scales and header labels.

The last large sheet has deco with large gray sequin flags at the top, deco and icons.
I Love The Full Boxes – “Beach Please, I Am a Mermaid” – Yes, Yes, I Am.

On the top right are ombre checklists with sequins on the background.

The bottom sheet has half boxes, quarter boxes and appointment labels
Here are all the stickers that came in this kit – pretty muted pastels, mermaids, seahorses, and other sea creatures.
I use this kit in my daily planner – above is the weekly spread of these stickers. You know, sometimes we just have to do things outside our comfort zone – that’s what this type of “no white space” spread is for me. It’s nice to shake things up once in a while, lol.

These kits are not exactly month specific – meaning that some of them can be used any time of the year, or at the very least any month during a specific season. My favorite kit so far this year is June – it has a garden fairy theme that would fit any time during the spring or the summer – I loved it!!!

September 2017 Cocoa Daisy Dori Standard Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! The September 2017 Cocoa Daisy Dori Standard kit “Typewriters” is here!!!

Above is a shot of the inside of the box – SMILE. card – dark gray crinkled paper – oooooo, I see washi . . . Let’s Go!!!!!
The Dori kit always comes in a muslin bag that says “Enjoy Every Day.”
This kit’s washi tape was designed by arleigh – and has ‘MTWTFSS’ in a vertical orientation.
There are 6 die cut tabs and planner die cuts designed by arliegh – typewriters, birds, vintage (lol) telephones, and words.
You get three puffy clip toppers – these are super easy to assemble – thread them through the paperclip and stick the sides together. How cute are these????
There is a 3×5 notepad and little birdie sticky notes designed by arleigh, and a Cocoa Daisy exclusive PenGem – this is only my 2nd PenGem – isn’t it beautiful???? Lovin’ the rainbow crystals. . .
Cocoa Daisy kits frequently include stamp sets this one is called ‘Typeset Birds’ and was designed by arleigh.
This is the standard-size Dori. It comes with a Kraft cover and the pages include:
• Monthly Calendar
• 3 lined journaling pages
• 11 blank (with design) pages
• 10 graph paper pages with 3 sections
• 10 unlined pages with 3 sections
• Last page has a pink typewriter design
The 5×7 planner sticker sheet and date sticker sheet were designed by arleigh. The small sticker sheet has tab labels for the tab die cuts and was designed by Just Jaimee.
There are six 6×8 beautiful papers designed by arleigh – the pink one with text is from Alice in Wonderland – pretty cool . . .
Here is a pic of the entire kit – pink, green, blue, birds, typewriters – so, so pretty!!
I recently subscribed to the Planner Add On Kit, which is pictured above. I’ve found that the add-on really complements the Kit – just enough extras . . .
This pencil pouch is HUGE and the vintage typewriter looks so cool . . .
Included was a full sheet of puffy stickers from Just Jaimee.
And another roll of washi tape – ‘Days and Dates’ – a black and white design in a horizontal orientation.
Here is a set of die cuts designed by Just Jaimee.
Finally, there is a bag that includes a sticker elements sheet, a general planner sticker sheet, and an extra planner sticker sheet designed by Just Jaimee. There are also two 3×4 notecards, and a 4×6 notecard. Vintage is one of my favorite planner deco themes (along with florals), so I’m loving this kit!!!
Above is the October monthly spread. This is my daily planner – where I keep track of appointments, work, birthdays, anniversaries. Doesn’t the paper along the top look like sweater knit??
Here is a week spread – I keep track of the weather, my schedule and write anecdotes from the day in the boxes.
I made a folder for the extra stickers by taking one sheet of the paper, a scrap from another sheet (that I cut an angle along the right edge of), laminated the whole thing and used my craft knife to cut through the laminate around the pocket. Finally, I used the WRMK Planner Punch to punch holes along the left edge and put it in my planner.

CTMH Artfully Sent Thank You Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making a CTMH Artfully Sent Thank You Card.

Above is a screen shot of the card in Cricut Design Space 3. There are several changes in the new Design Space that I Just Love!!
#1 It no longer uses Flash so there are no more shockwave errors – Yay!!
#2 I can see images of my projects rather than just a list.
#3 There’s a Much Better view of the fonts – you can see ALL the letters and numbers for each font – including your system fonts
#4 Selecting a group of images is a Million Times Easier – you don’t have to make a box around all of it – which was difficult at best

Another huge improvement, imo, in DS3 is what you can see above. When you click on your project image, a box like the one above comes up.

It tells you what cartridges your images are from, what shapes you used, and what font you used. Pretty useful when you’re explaining how you made a project . . . you know, like when you’re writing a blog . . .
Here are the cutout pieces – there are only two pieces – how easy is that???? I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Colonial White and Whisper.

The card is from the CTMH Artfully Sent cartridge – I love the chalkboard font and the swirl design – very elegant, don’tcha think?
I made two versions of this card – seen in the above pic – one with CTMH Whisper cardstock on top and Colonial White underneath and the other with Colonial White on top and Whisper underneath. It took about ten minutes to make each card from start to finish – Quick & Easy!!

Confetti Embossed Wedding Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making a Confetti Embossed Wedding Card for my nephew and his new wife.

Above is a screenshot of my design in Cricut Design Space 3. It’s a simple design with two layers, a base, 2 welded hearts, and a short sentiment.
This is the inspiration for my card. I found it on Pinterest when I searched wedding cards – I frequently go through Pinterest posts and pin cards onto boards so I can use them later.
Here are the cutout pieces – I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Glacier and Linen (a brand new color). I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the pieces – the hearts are from the Calligraphy Collection, and the font is Soiree Lettering – Grace Script – this is my go-to for script fonts.
The top layer was embossed using the CTMH Confetti Embossing Folder through my eBosser. How cool does that look????
Here are the front layers – I turned the embossed layer around so most of the confetti was at the top and less toward the bottom.
The entwined hearts were run through my Xyron – this puts adhesive over the entire surface of the piece.
Here are the hearts adhered to the top layer of the card.
I don’t know if you’ve ever made a fork bow, but they are so easy and all you need is some ribbon and a fork . . . Yep, a fork!

I used a meat fork for this bow because I wanted a large one. You can make teeny tiny bows as well with a small fork . . . absolutely amazing!!!!! And they come out perfect Every Time.

Here’s the finished card – simple and elegant – exactly what I wanted for a wedding card.

July 2017 Paper Panduh “Girl Squad” Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! It’s the July 2017 Paper Panduh “Girl Squad” kit.

Every month there’s something personalized in the #panduhbox – it was always inside the box (see my past Paper Panduh posts) and now it’s a sticker on the outside of the box – honestly, not as much fun . . . I’m sure it’s hard to come up with new ways to personalize . . . still . . . kind of disappointing . . .
Movin’ on . . . the inside is really pretty – the tissue paper is a bright floral and the satin bow is awesome!
There’s a $15 gift voucher – but you have to spend $30+ . . . I guess there was an issue with a pen that was supposed to be in the kit that PenGems had an objection to – too similar to theirs – thought this was to replace the pen . . .

Okay, I’m gonna say it – What the heck? I have to spend $30+???? I won’t lie, I used the voucher, it’s so easy to spend $30, lol . . . but if this was to replace the pen, shouldn’t I be able to spend just, you know, $15??????
One of my favorite elements of the #panduhbox is the layers. After unwrapping the floral tissue paper, there are 2 items on top of the mint green tissue paper.
There’s a Planner Glue Pen, which is available in her shop.
And, in the pink mesh bag are 5 rolls of washi – ugh, I Love These!!!
And under the mint tissue paper . . .
Two products from pebbles – 40 die cuts and 31 puffy stickers.
Finally, there are 2 full sheets of stickers from oddloop (on the left) and 2 full sheets of stickers from Paper Panduh (on the right).

Here’s a shot of the entire kit – I LOVE the color scheme.
This is my monthly spread – I use this planner to track my social media data.

I love the floral washi, it really dresses up the page, don’tcha think???? I glued the bow from the box onto a wide paper clip with E6000. The “August” die cut is from Peachy Cheap. And “Gage Girl” was created from a stencil – an item from an earlier #panduhbox.
Here’s my week spread – this is where I list which blogs viewers are reading – great for analyzing which blog topics I should continue and which I shouldn’t.

Black-Eyed Susans Anniversary Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making a Black-Eyed Susans Anniversary Card for my daughter and son-in-law.

Above is a screenshot of the card in Cricut Design Space – this is where all the magic happens, lol . . .
My process for designing cards is to go on Pinterest and search my ideas – this is the inspiration for my card.
Here are the cutout pieces – I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Black, Cocoa, Cashmere, Honey and New England Ivy.

The stems are from the Cricut Close To My Heart ‘Philosophy’ cartridge, the tag is from ‘Ashlynn’s Alphabet’, the flowers are from the Close To My Heart ‘Flower Market’ cartridge, and the font is Soiree Lettering Grace Script.
I used Staedtler markers on the stems, leaves and flowers – hmm, can’t really see the yellow marker on the petals . . .
I glued two layers of the flowers together, curled the ends up, and added the centers. Then I embellished the petals (with a Black Staedtler marker this time) and added glitter to the centers.
Arranging the stems was a little challenging – but I’m thinking the tag will cover a lot of it, so I just made sure they all crossed in about the same place.
Here’s the finished card. I tied a piece of twine to the tag and glued it on. I used a Uni-ball Signo white roller pen in my Cricut (Chomas pen adaptor) to write ‘Happy Anniversary’ in the Cricut Sans font.

I added stitch lines around the outside of the card as well as around the edges of the envelope because it looked too plain on solid paper. It makes all the difference . . .

SVGCuts Mens Shirt Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making an SVGCuts Mens Shirt Card from their ’Summer Holiday’ Kit for my brother’s birthday.

Above is a screenshot of the files in Cricut Design Space – this is where I work on the color combinations of the pieces. Also, when using SVGCuts files, you have to remember to attach the scorelines. You can also change the scorelines from cut to score if you want.
Here is a pic of the card from the SVGCuts website. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any hawaiian-type paper, but I think any type of masculine paper would look good. Hey, I have some Tim Holtz cardstock . . .
These are the cutout pieces. And, yes, I used Tim Holtz cardstock from his ‘Crowded Attic’ paper pack, and also Close To My Heart cardstock in White Daisy for the envelope, and Slate for the shirt accents.
SVGCuts includes assembly videos for almost every kit on their website – which I watch all the way through before I start a project, and then again while I am assembling – stopping frequently as I go.

I used Thin 3D Foam Squares from amazon under the collar and shirt cuffs to add dimension.
Next I attached the front shirt layers along the outside edges.
Most kits come with a piece that you can personalize – this particular kit came with an interior piece that I wrote the sentiment on in the Soiree Lettering Grace Script.
The buttons are CTMH Epoxy Bubbles in a dark gray.
Here’s the finished card. The envelope was part of the kit and not one of my favorites. There was some overhang on the sides – weird – and I’m thinking an envelope liner in different cardstock would’ve looked better. I tried to improve it by inking the edges, creating a more grungey look – it just looked messy . . .

SVGCuts Adirondack Chair Box Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making an SVGCuts Adirondack Chair Box Card from their ‘Garden Party Box Cards’ Kit.

Above is a screen shot of the card in Cricut Design Space – hmm, doesn’t look too bad, right?
Here’s a screen shot of the finished card from the SVGCuts website.
Above are the cutout pieces. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Hollyhock, Topiary, White Daisy, Whisper.
The hibiscus flowers are from the SVGCuts ‘Tiki Party’ Kit.

I used a Zebra Print embossing folder from provo craft to emboss the flower petals and then inked the centers with CTMH Hollyhock ink.
Assembly of the flowers was pretty straight forward – glue them in a circle and glue the stem to the center.

I added black glitter to the flower centers and CTMH glimmer to the leaves.
The edges of the chair pieces were inked with CTMH Cashmere ink.
SVGCuts has an assembly video that demonstrates how to assemble the card from start to finish – definitely worth the time it takes to watch it. I usually watch all the way through and then watch again while I’m assembling.

The white piece sticking up is for a pillow, but I wanted to put hibiscus flowers on it instead. See? You can customize your cards . . .
Here’s a front view of the finished card. The envelope is also from SVGCuts – part of the card svg files – I love the curved flap.
And a back view – the piece on the back is a towel where you can put a sentiment.
The awesome thing about box cards is that you can fold them flat and put them in an envelope . . .

July 2017 scarlet lime Planner Society Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! The July 2017 scarlet lime Planner Society Kit is here!!!!

I get the Monthly Planner Society Kit Club as well as the Washi Tape Kit. Above is a shot of the kits inside their paper bags – I use the paper bags to make a pocket folder for the extras, so I can use them throughout the month.
This is the Washi Tape Kit – the pic on the left shows a navy and white striped design with pink pineapples – not a color combination I would’ve used, but it definitely works. Huh . . .

On the right are the three rolls of washi – 30mm, 15mm, and 10mm – OMG, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the girl in the hat!!!!
Here is the bag holding the planner kit. I love how the bags have a custom design that coordinates with the kits’ colors and designs.
How cute is this pouch? It has a scalloped edge, lavender flowers, and a navy bow. So, so pretty!!
Above is an acrylic stamp set – too cute – a roll of green floral washi – and a mix of sequins that coordinate with this months’ color scheme.
Pineapple sticky notes, do I have plans for you . . .

Also, how about that pen? Navy and white stripes with a pink rose design, rose gold accents, and white crystals in the barrel – can’t wait to use this!!
I usually use the journal cards to embellish my dashboards.
Lots of die cuts!
There are 12 tabs and 4 sheets of labels – I use these to label the weeks.
Aaaghhh!! Look at these clips – I’ve never seen anything like them before and . . .

I. Love. Them.
The stickers come in their own paper bag – more pineapples. This month there are 4 sheets of sticker deco.
The top photo shows one sheet of acetate and two sheets of vellum – seriously, the girls in the hats!!!!

The bottom pic shows the six sheets of paper – I use them to make dashboards.
Here’s the entire July Kit – how pretty!!!!!! Man, I need to get to work . . .
I made this shaker from the sticky notes – I cut the centers out of a stack of the sticky notes, glued them together, laminated the top and bottom layer, inserted some of the sequins, and sealed it up with glue.

It has absolutely no function, lol, but it sure was fun to make and isn’t it pretty????
This a pocket folder made from the paper bags in the kit – I have a previous blog where I explain how I make them.
Here is the month-on-two-pages spread – I use this planner to track my social media. On the right, I made a dashboard out of the acetate from the kit.
This is the first week spread – don’t you just love those swimsuit girls???
