July 2017 scribbleprintsco Mystery Ultimate Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! Here’s the July 2017 scribbleprintsco Mystery Ultimate Kit.

This months’ mailer has this HUGE sticker of Gerbera daisies on it. The sticker is a hint of the colors and design of the kit. Let’s see . . .
The kit comes in a sealed clear plastic bag with a large glitter label on the front and a heart checklist sticky note pad – the note pad is exclusive to subscribers.

Notice the flowers around the outside edge of the note pad? Yep, same design as the sticker on the back of the mailer. So pretty!!
The mini deco sticker sheet (left) is a freebie – notice the little peeps along the bottom – they are from oncemorewithlove. The lipstick stickers (right) and glitter appointment labels (center) are extras.

Wow, can you see that glitter? It’s unbelievable!!
The top left sheet are the full box heart checklists, on the top right are the half/quarter boxes, and in the center are is the functional sheet.

Andrea says the color scheme is not pastel, but I would definitely consider these pastels . . .
Above on the left is the glitter washi and headers sheet. On the right are the solid washi and little things labels, and in the center is a glitter sheet. The glitter sheet is an extra in the subscription kit.
The sheet on the left has a full deco box, washi, and the days of the week (they fit perfectly in the Erin Condren planner).

The top right sheet has the full boxes, and the center sheet has deco, icons, and miscellaneous functional stickers.
Here’s a pic of the entire kit – this is definitely pastel in my world . . .
I use this kit in my daily planner – I am a white space planner, but if you like to fill your pages with stickers, there are plenty of them in this kit.

August 2017 Cocoa Daisy Dori Standard Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! The August 2017 Cocoa Daisy Dori Standard Kit “Sunflowers” is here!!!

Love, love, love the yellow polka dotted box!
Here is a view of the inside – lots of beautiful yellow crinkle paper . . . Washi . . . Sunflower clip . . . Aaaaaggggghhhhh, can’t wait . . .
I took the plunge and subscribed to the Planner Add On Kit – they were having technical difficulties on Reveal Night and I missed out two months in a row, so I took the plunge . . . It’s $15 per month for this subscription.

FYI: None of the items in the Planner Add On Kit appear in the Planner Kit – they are completely different!
In the top left picture are a roll of washi called ‘Ginger Jar’, a metal sunflower clip, a sunflower clay clip topper from My Lucky Charm, and a green and yellow pen.

The top right pic shows die cuts by Just Jaimee.

The bottom left are a 4×6 notecard and two 3×4 notecards.

And, in the bottom right pic are a general planner sticker sheet, an extra planner sticker sheet, and a sticker elements sheet all by Just Jaimee.
The planner kit comes in a muslin bag with “Enjoy Every Day” stamped on the front.
Above is a roll of washi tape by arleigh called ‘firefly’ – ooooooo, I do love washi . . .
Here is a 3×5 notepad by arleigh that says ‘always face the sun’ – so cute, yellow banner sticky notes also by arleigh, puffy clip toppers with sunflowers, ladybugs, and cloud designs, and a light blue bow clip from Peonies Paperie.
There was a paper bag with the above card clipped to it. It contains 6 tab die cuts and planner die cuts by arleigh, and a blue charm that coordinates with the washi from the Add On kit.

I get the Standard Dori (I use it to track what I eat and my exercise). It has a Kraft cover that says start here . . . The middle pic is the calendar and the right pic is the last page.

Inside it has:
• 3 lined journaling pages
• 11 blank (with design) pages
• 10 graph paper pages with 3 sections
• 10 unlined pages with 3 sections
Above are the stickers: a 5×7 planner sticker sheet and a date sticker sheet by arleigh, and a tab label sticker sheet by Just Jaimee.
The kit also comes with six 6×8 papers by arleigh.

This months’ kit also included a gold foil vellum sheet (top pic).
Here’s a shot of the entire planner kit – this kit is so colorful and cheerful, don’tcha think???
I use the Cocoa Daisy Kit in my daily planner. Above is the month-on-two-pages spread – lots and lots of yellow!!!
Here is a shot of the first week in August. I made a dashboard out of a sheet of the paper and the gold foil vellum.

I got a We R Memory Keepers Planner Punch Board so I can insert pages into my coil-bound planners. Wow does it work great!!!!

Double Heart Anniversary Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making a Double Heart Anniversary Card for my brother and sister-in-law’s 41st anniversary.

Above is a screenshot of Cricut Design Space 3 – I found a card I liked on Pinterest and thought, hmmm, how can I make that? Read on and see what I came up with . . .
Here is the inspiration for the card – looks pretty simple doesn’t it??? I can do that . . .
Here are the cutout pieces – I used Cashmere, Chocolate and White Daisy cardstock from Close To My Heart. The heart is from the Cricut Calligraphy Collection, ‘love’ is from the Cricut Sampler, and the font is Soiree Lettering – Grace Script.

The hardest part was trying to imitate the multi-heart shapes – I tried to layer hearts, but I did NOT like how it looked. Instead, I chose a heart from ‘my purchases’ in Cricut Design Space, duplicated it, flipped one of the hearts horizontally, overlapped them, and then welded.

I was very happy with how my version of hearts came out.

I used Perfect Pearls Mists and heavily misted the hearts and love’s shadow layer.
Then I ran my 3/4” White Daisy strips through my eBosser, using the above embossing folders. I have all of my embossing folders organized into folders like the ones in the pic. They’re easy to store and it’s very easy to look through the designs.
Here are the strips glued to the card base.
Finally, I tied some paper string in a double bow, glued it onto the hearts, glued the hearts to the card base, and finished the front by adding the ‘love’ sentiment.

That’s the completed card. I Love How It Came Out!!!

Floral Heart Bridal Shower Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making a Floral Heart Bridal Shower Card for my niece-to-be.

Above is a screenshot of Cricut Design Space 3 – still in Beta – I love designing cards in Design Space because I can see what it’s going to look like. I can move elements around, resize them, play with color combinations, and add text.
Here is the inspiration for my card. What I usually do first when designing a card is go on Pinterest and search a topic. Even though I use these cards for inspiration, they rarely look like the original – you’ll see what I’m talking about when you see the finished card . . .
Here are the cut out pieces – I used my awesome Cricut Explore to cut them out. The cardstock is from Close To My Heart and is from the White Daisy and Lagoon paper.
I misted the word and the floral heart with Perfect Pearls Mists – one of my favorite ways to embellish card pieces.
I used the PC Swiss Dots embossing folder on the White Daisy layer.

I have a photo box from Michaels for storing the embossing folders, and folders with labels and a sample of the embossed design. I put a large sample of the embossed design on the folder so I can see the overall design.
I glued the White Daisy embossed layer onto the Lagoon card base.
Then I added the floral heart inside the cutout heart.
Next came the “Congratulations” on the White Daisy layer.
Here is the finished card. The envelope was made from the CTMH Lagoon cardstock using my We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board.

I find myself using the 1-2-3 Punch Board all the time now because I can make longer score lines with the extension arm, and the corner rounder is easier to use.

June 2017 Paper Panduh ‘She designed a life she loved’ Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! It’s the June 2017 Paper Panduh “She designed a life she loved” Kit.

The above sticker was on the outside of the absolutely beautiful gold metallic mailer. This is the personalization for this months’ kit – doesn’t it look like the Tim Holtz distress oxide technique???? I’m gonna love this!!!! I can tell!!
Inside the box lid is this beautiful sticker! How about that navy ribbon tied around the peach tissue paper and the rose gold pen with a HUGE gem on the end???

I mean . . . really . . . so, so pretty . . .
Here’s a closeup of the pen . . . oh my, there’s a panda on it!!!
One of my favorite parts of the #panduhbox is how she layers the contents. Above is a sticker sheet with a note on the left half and blank headers on the right.

I like customizing my own headers – then they say what I want them to say.

“Edit your life frequently
and ruthlessly
it’s your masterpiece
after all”
I am a huge fan of Ashley Shelly – I have a budget planner from her – unbelievably useful, btw. Yeah, so, this is an exclusive dot grid notebook specifically for The Panduh Box. There are also 10 To Do List pages in the back.

How pretty is that cover? Navy, peach, and rose gold . . . Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm.
Here is what the inside looks like.

I. Love. It.
There is a sheer drawstring pouch with three coordinating magnetic clips from paper love.
This is a sticky notepad in a coordinating navy, peach and rose gold design. Check out the tiny panda on the bottom of the page.
There are two full sheets of planner stickers from the Paper Dove Shop.
Here are 8 page flag sticky notes from paper love – how pretty are these????
There are three sheets of ’Travel’ stickers from My Prima Planner – two sheets are square stickers and the other sheet has functional planner stickers – flags, hearts, checklists . . . These are really thick stickers!!
Here’s a shot of the entire kit – Wow, am I lovin’ that navy, peach and rose gold combination!!!!
Above is the month-on-two pages spread. This is a new coil-bound 2017-18 Plum Paper planner that starts in July.

“Gage Girl” was stenciled using a stencil from the April 2017 Paper Panduh kit. I threaded the navy satin ribbon through the coil and am using it as a bookmark. What a beautiful work space!!!
And here is the first full week spread. I use this planner to track my social media – specifically which blogs are viewed and from where – so, I need lots of space.

Puppy 1st Birthday Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making a Puppy 1st Birthday Card for my friend’s granddaughter.

Above is a screenshot of the design in Cricut Design Space 3. I didn’t have an inspiration for this particular card – I had like an hour to design, cut out and create it.

Challenge accepted!! Here we go . . .
Here are the cutout pieces. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in White Daisy, Colonial White, Chocolate, Cashmere, Blossom and Raspberry.

Raspberry is definitely one of my favorite colors. Just sayin’ . . .

The font is Soiree Lettering – Grace Script. ‘birthday’ is from my images – which means I uploaded it from somewhere . . . sorry, not sure where, but probably svgcuts.
The Terrier is from the Cricut Create A Critter cartridge. Cricut images are designed to layer on top of each other so the underneath shows through – the eyes, nose, mouth and ears are all the base layer in Chocolate.

The Colonial White piece on the front has cutouts for the nose and mouth so, again, you can see the Chocolate from underneath.

Seriously, how cute is that puppy?????
The 1st medallion image is from the Cricut Creative Memories – Stork’s Delivery cartridge.

Guess I should’ve let the glue dry before taking the picture, but as I said, I was in a hurry – it dries clear.

Blossom cardstock, layered over Raspberry, layered over White Daisy – such vibrant colors!!
This is the Celebrate Card image from the Cricut ‘Simple Celebrations’ cartridge. How pretty is this design? I love how the dots are more concentrated at the top and then less and less – perfect for adding an image at the bottom.
I put pop dots all over the back of the terrier to make it stand up – I also put them on the back of the medallion.
Here’s the finished card – isn’t it just adorable? It was a really cute design that went together super fast! The Cricut ‘Create A Critter’ images are perfect for children’s cards – they have other dogs, bears, frogs, flowers, snakes, mice, chicks, trees . . . there are 201 images on this cartridge – well worth the purchase.

June 2017 scarlet lime Planner Society Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! Here is the June 2017 scarlet lime Planner Society Kit.

This is definitely my favorite monthly kit because I love vintage, florals, and pretty. This kit delivers all three, plus a few surprises . . . come on in and see  . . .
I also get the Washi Tape Kit. On the left is the floral paper bag that contains the washi, and on the right is this months contents.

You get three coordinating rolls that are 10mm – red and pink floral, 15mm – yellow gingham, and 30mm – blue floral.
Above is the paper bag that contains the kit – I love the weathered wood panel background.
On the left are 6 two-sided sheets of coordinating cardstock and on the right is one sheet of acetate and two sheets of vellum.
A beautiful pen pouch came in this kit – on the right is a view of the inside which includes a mesh pocket, and pen holders.
Here are six square cards for decorating.
How pretty are these felt flower clips???? I mean, really . . .
These die cuts give the kit a decidedly summer feel – ice cream cones, popsicles, cool drinks, fruit, picnic baskets . . .
On the left are sticky notes – they have the prettiest sticky notes in these kits!!!

In the center are two banner stencils, and on the right is an acrylic stamp set that includes the days of the week and a mason jar with a citrus slice and straw. I mean . . . I am speechless!!!

And how about that pen? I prefer really thin pens, but this one is so darned cute in pink gingham and florals!
Check out the paper bag on the left! Its design is yellow and white gingham and has a doily on it – so, so awesome!! Inside are six mini sheets of stickers.
There are 12 coordinating tabs and 4 sheets of labels.
The regular kit also includes a roll of washi – this month it has a light blue background with white and blue flowers.
Here’s a shot of the entire kit.

I need to get to work . . .
I use this kit in my Blog Planner. Above is the month-on-two-pages spread. I loved those banner stencils – I stamped and then colored them in.
This is my new Neutral Erin Condren – which has a ‘Goals’ page – I listed my goals in the circles and then created a list of the blogs/projects I want to work on this month.
July starts on a Saturday, so I used some paper from the kit and created a dashboard, decorated it, and punched it – easy, peasy.

I love how the mason jar stamps came out!
Here is the first weeks’ spread – lots of room for planning, writing notes, etc. Again, I love that mason jar stamp!!!!

Time to Celebrate Birthday Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making a Time to Celebrate Birthday Card for my dad.

Ya know, sometimes you just need to make a simple card. This is one of those times – but it comes out awesome!!!!
Here is the inspiration for my card. The embossed background looks like a Tim Holtz design – which I don’t have – so I used one with gears instead.
Here are the cutout pieces. I used kraft paper for the card base and clock face, and Close To My Heart cardstock in Colonial White and Cashmere.

The clock image is from the Cricut ‘Designer’s Calendar’ cartridge. I drew the numbers on the clock face, rather than cut them, because they’re so small.

The font is Cricut Sans, and the embossing folder is Tim Holtz Gears (not sure if this is the official name).
Here is the embossed layer on CTMH Colonial White. I’ve found that my eBosser does a better job than my Cuddlebug. The Cuddlebug would tear the paper sometimes – maybe because it doesn’t have consistent even pressure like the eBosser?????
Here’s the assembled front decorative piece. I drew the clock design rather than cut it out because the numbers were so small – yeah, so then it also did not cut out the circle – had to cut it out by hand.

Aren’t the clock hands adorable? Weird, but I had a hard time putting the hands in position???? Nothing looked right . . . This would be really cool if you knew the recipient’s exact birth time, wouldn’t it??
I attached the embossed layer to the card base.
Then I attached the decorative clock and sentiment piece, and voila . . . Done . . .

I made the envelope using my WRMK Envelope Generator app on my phone for the dimensions, and then the WRMK Envelope Punch Board – perfect envelopes every time!

Under the Sea Birthday Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making an Under the Sea Birthday Card for my sister. She recently got into cardmaking with me, so of course I had to make an extra special card for her.

Above is a screenshot of the card in Cricut Design Space.
This is the inspiration for my card. I got it from We R Memory Keepers and will use the WRMK Fuse Tool to create the waves.
Here are the cutout pieces. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Honey (retired), Lemon, Sea Glass, White Daisy and Black.
Cricut Design Space 3 (still in beta) has a really useful design source description box (shown above).

The sun and banner are from the CTMH Artiste cartridge, ‘Birthday Wishes’ is from Anna’s Gracious Giftables Bonus Content, the fish are from the Paper Dolls for Everyday cartridge, the goldfish are from the Disney Pixar cartridge, ‘live it up’ is from heidi swapp font, phrases, and icons, and the sentiment font is Soiree Lettering – Grace Script.
I decided the background was too plain, so I had my awesome Cricut draw the designs – a really easy way to add a background when you don’t have patterned paper. Just sayin’ . . .

The left pic shows the decorated cardstock and the right pic shows it attached to the card base.
Here are the assembled decorative pieces for the front of the card.
I used the WRMK Fuse tool and decorative ruler to create the waves. The plastic is a page protector that I cut down to size, then I sealed the left, right and bottom with the Fuse Tool.

Finally, I put some sequins and beads in the bottom and using the decorative ruler, I created waves, and repeated until I got to the top.

Finally, I glued it onto the decorative fish paper.
These are the beads I used – I got them from Michaels.
And, these are the sequins – they were in my July Cocoa Daisy Kit – they’re perfect for this project.
Here’s the finished card. One of my best, if I do say so myself . . .
