July 2017 Cocoa Daisy Dori Standard Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! The July 2017 Cocoa Daisy Dori Standard kit “Under the Sea” is here!!! Looks like the awesome, happy yellow polka dotted box is making another appearance!!

Here it is above just waiting to be opened . . .
‘Hello’ is peeking out from under the brown crinkled paper . . .
“ENJOY EVERY DAY”
The kit included the above six 6×8 papers by Just Jaimee – nautical flags, waves, fish scales, shades of blue – my favorite is the one with the script.
Under the Sea sequin mix from spiegelmom scraps – how cute are these? Hmm, these would go perfect in the birthday card I’m making for my sister . . .
What a beautiful pencil pouch!! I love the watercolor design and those seahorses are awesome!
I love additions like the card in the left photo – just a little touch, but it makes a HUGE impact!! Inside are 6 tab die cuts and a set of planner die cuts by Just Jaimee – lots of complementary designs for my planner.
Above are pics of the mermaid scales washi tape by arleigh – how pretty is that washi?!?!?
On the left are a notepad and seashell sticky notes by arleigh. On the right is a numbers stamp set (1-31), that also includes planner stamps in a thin font that resembles writing – I. Like. It.
The Daisy Dori has a Kraft cover – I’m also showing the first and last pages in the notebook – the designs and colors are incredible!
Pages include:
• Monthly Calendar
• 3 lined journaling pages
• 11 blank (with design) pages
• 10 graph paper pages with 3 sections
• 10 unlined pages with 3 sections
• Last page with design
There are lots of stickers in the kit. A 5×7 planner sticker sheet by arleigh; a date sticker sheet, also by arleigh; tab label stickers by Just Jaimee; and a sheet of mermaid tail stickers.
Here is a pic of the entire kit – Eeeek, I can hardly wait to get started . . .

I use this kit in my Erin Condren personal planner. Above is a shot of the month on two pages. The July is from a set of die cuts I got from Peachy Cheap, and the numbers for the year are from a set of heidi swapp alpha stickers.

This is the first full week spread. On the right is a pocket I made for the extras – I folded the bottom up, laminated it, slit the opening, and punched the holes with the WRMK Planner Punch Board. Voila! A pocket for the stuff!!!!

SVGCuts Tackle Box Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making an SVGCuts Tackle Box Card for my brother-in-law from their ‘Sunday With Dad’ kit.

Above is a screenshot of the pieces in Cricut Design Space. When you use SVGCuts files, you have to remember to attach the score lines – otherwise they end up on a mat all by themselves . . . and not on the pieces . . .
This is a pic of what it’s supposed to look like when it’s done.
Here is a shot of all the cutout pieces. I put them in a bin as they were cut out so I wouldn’t lose any. Ugh, so many times I go to assemble a card and can’t find a small piece and have to recut . . .

I used LOTS of Close To My Heart cardstock in Sunset, Tangerine, Gold Rush, Saffron, Topiary, Lagoon, Sapphire, Whisper, Ruby, Cashmere, Colonial White, Pear, Peacock and Juniper. I also used Tim Holtz Kraft-Stock paper in metallic silver.
The top pic is a ‘Bottom Drawer’ insert, the middle pic is a ‘Back’ insert, and the bottom pic is a ‘Top Drawer’ insert.
The top pic here is a ‘Front’ insert, and the bottom pic is another ‘Back’ insert.
The inserts are assembled. Next is assembling the box card base.

The top pic shows the panels attached and the pieces folded along their score lines.

The bottom pic shows the metal pieces added to the sides and the clasp on the front piece.
The left pic shows the box assembled and the right pic shows the top drawer compartments.
The left pic shows the top drawer insert added, and the right pic shows the back insert.
Here is the middle drawer – the left pic is the front insert, the center pic is a front view of the drawer, and the right pic is a top view.
This is a top view of the box card.

I stamped the sentiment on the ‘lid’ using the CTMH D1672 stamp set.
Here’s the finished card. The cool thing about a box card is that it folds flat and fits in an envelope – just remember it will require extra postage.

Box cards just come out AWESOME!!!! Don’tcha think????

Star Shaker Birthday Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making a Star Shaker Birthday Card for my daughter.

Above is a screen shot of Cricut Design Space. I wanted to write “33” on the front of the card, so I had to create an insert (on the right) that will be glued inside the card base.
This is the inspiration for the card – I went on Pinterest and searched “Anna Griffin shaker cards.”
Here are the cutout pieces. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Sapphire, Crystal Blue, and White Daisy. The gold metallic paper is from a Tim Holtz 8” x 8” pad. It comes with gold metallic sheets and silver metallic sheets.

The star is a free shape in Cricut Design Space, ‘Happy Birthday’ is from the CTMH Artiste cartridge, the tag is from the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge, the font is Soiree Lettering – Grace Script.

I got this plastic to create my shaker from amazon.
This is the back side of the gold metallic layer. I cut the plastic to cover the opening and glued it on the back.
Then I added the Sapphire layer and finally the Crystal Blue layer on top.

I was so involved in making the card, I forgot to take pictures . . . sorry . . .

So, I lined the edges of the star on the back with strips of 3D foam tape – FYI, there can’t be any spaces because you don’t want the filling to come out. I also put pieces all over the back to keep the entire layer the same level.
Here’s the finished card. I added a gold metallic star and gold metallic dots to the front. The filler is gold sequins and tiny gold balls.

Farmer Father’s Day Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making a Farmer Father’s Day Card for my dad, who is, you guessed it, a farmer, lol.

Above is a screenshot of Cricut Design Space. I did something kind of fun to try to imitate the inspiration. Read on . . .
This is the inspiration for my card – I almost always use Pinterest to get my ideas. This time I searched farmer cards and this is one of the results.

Notice the stitch-like design on the sun and around the frame on the card. I used scorelines on mine to make it look like this.
Here are the cutout pieces. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Whisper, White Daisy, Black, Lemon, Willow, Crystal Blue and Champagne.

The sunshine image is from the Cricut ‘Accent Essentials’ cartridge; the tractor is from the ‘My World’ cartridge; the fence is from the ‘Mini Monsters’ cartridge; the clouds are from the ’Cricut Craft Room Basics’ cartridge; the banner is from the ‘Bits and Pieces’ cartridge; the font is Cricut Sans.
These are closeups of the scorelines I put on the White Daisy frame (on the left) and the sun (on the right) – I also put a circle in the center of the sun and had it score instead of cut or write.
Above is the backside of the White Daisy frame with Scrapbook Adhesives Thin 3D foam squares from amazon.
Here is the front of the card with the White Daisy frame layered over the Crystal Blue piece.
The finished card is above. It was a very simple design that I embellished with colored pencil on the clouds and some Nuvo Crystal Drops . . . Easy. Peasy.

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads!!

June 2017 scribbleprintsco Mystery Ultimate Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! Here’s the June 2017 scribbleprintsco Mystery Ultimate Kit. It’s a 6-month subscription that comes monthly and includes stickers that are not available in her shop.

Andrea puts a sticker on the back of the kit mailer that hints at the theme. This month I would say there will be fairies, gold glitter, wood, and pink. Hmm, let’s see . . .
This is what was inside the mailer. The kit comes in a clear plastic bag and the sticky notes are separate.
Here are the freebies – a sticky note pad for organizing the week, a small sheet of gold glitter headers, a small sheet of planner deco, a small sheet of fairies and gold glitter stars.

There is also a sheet of tall boxes with fairies that have various hair and skin colors. Ooooo, they’re sooooo pretty!!!!
The top full sheet in this pic are heart checklists with a pattern in the background and gold hearts along the left side.

The middle sheet has a full deco box, washi, and the days of the week.

The bottom sheet has 8 full boxes – those bunny bookends are adorable!
The top full sheet has habit trackers, bill due stickers, flags, quarter and half boxes.

The bottom full sheet also has habit trackers, a weekend banner, flags, icons, triple heart checklists, and long strip-type of checklists.
Here’s a shot of the entire kit. I love the theme this month and the colors are really light and soft.
Above is a full week spread – I try to do no white space, I really do, but this is as close as I get, lol. The struggle is real, guys . . .

Here’s another week spread, I used washi from my stash that I thought went with the theme, but the green was too bright. Oh well, sometimes ya gotta try something new, it doesn’t always work out . . . shoulda used pink . . .

May 2017 Paper Panduh Mermaid Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! It’s the May 2017 Paper Panduh “Mermaid” kit.

One of the things I love about the Panduh box is that it’s personalized every month in some way – above is my name written on a sand dollar sticker. It was on the side of the kit box . . . how awesome is that????
The other thing I love about the Panduh box is the layers. Above, for example, is the inside of the box. There is a mermaid paperclip on the inside of the lid, and the kit itself is wrapped in blue watercolor tissue paper and a yellow tulle bow.
Here is a card you can use in your planner that says “Let the currents guide your heart.” On the back is a message from Emma AND a coupon for 20% off an order on paperpanduh.com.
Above is a muslin tote that says “do what you love.” The May 2016 Panduhbox had another version of a mermaid kit that include a muslin bag with turquoise seashells on it.
Under the muslin bag is some sea green tissue paper and . . . hey . . . I see some blue tulle up in the corner . . .
Here is the view under the tissue paper . . .
There are four shell-shaped sticky notes – they are sooooo adorable!! Also, that pen . . . it has a very fine tip and black ink.
Inside the blue tulle are 4 rolls of glitter washi – I definitely have a weakness for washi . . . and these ones glitter . . . and they are soooo pretty . . .
There are two sheets of Paper Panduh stickers – lots of decor . . . shells, mermaids, starfish, vegetation . . .
Above are two sheets of planner stickers from Jax and Pepper.
Here’s a shot of the entire kit – mermaids, glitter, seashells, mmm, mmm, mmm . . .
I knew this kit was going to have a mermaid theme and I saw this washi at Michaels – had to get it – isn’t it pretty???????
Here is my month spread. I use this planner to track my social media data – daily blog views, Instagram followers, and Pinterest followers.
This is the first week spread. I’m ready to track my numbers.

Oh, I almost forgot, the pompom was made from the gold and blue tulle in the kit – pompoms are so easy to make – and tulle is a great pompom material.

Erin Condren Summer Seasonal Surprise Box

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I got the Erin Condren Summer Seasonal Surprise Box, and it came in a beautiful, bright yellow box.

The Erin Condren website describes the box as:

“a hand-picked collection of seasonal faves. Inside is an assortment of sneak peeks, exclusives & best-selling items guaranteed to surprise and delight.”
The box theme is “Sun Kind of Wonderful!” The products inside are wrapped in ocean blue tissue paper and heavy duty bubble wrap.
This pouch is HUGE!! It’s 9.5” x 6.375” and can hold A LOT of planner supplies. It’s a mocha color with “shine on” in a beautiful metallic gold.
Beyond unlikely, included is a tube of SPF15 lip balm in the box . . . I. Love. It.
On the left is a pack of 6 colorful No. 2 pencils in a recognizable Erin Condren designed box.

The right pic shows a turquoise elastic planner band – the black attached piece is to a pen holder. This comes in very handy when you have a planner without a pen holder.
You can always use notepads, right? The above version is 3 1/2” square with different colored flags on each page and the paper is nice and thick.
I love this pad – I like to plan my week out ahead of time – it shows an overview of what I want to get done. Believe it or not, when I plan like this, I get a lot more accomplished. I’ve found these among my husband’s lists . . . I try to tell him to leave my stuff alone, but how can he resist these?????
There were 2 sheets of stickers. The sheet on the left has a summery design with lots of rose gold accents, and the sheet on the right has a patriotic theme of red, white, blue and metallic gold.
Finally, there was a “summer lovin’” interchangeable cover. Above on the left is the front cover, the center shows the back cover, and the right pic shows the inside. You can use a wet erase pen on the inside covers – great for making lists, table of contents, whatever . . .
Here is a pic of the entire kit – the items definitely speak “summer” in the classic Erin Condren colors, and for $35 you definitely get your money’s worth!!!

May 2017 scarlet lime Planner Society Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! Here is the May 2017 scarlet lime Planner Society kit.

This is my favorite monthly planner kit because of it’s vintage and floral designs, and you really get your money’s worth. Another thing I LOVE is how girly the kits are – for me, working in a pretty space is worth the time, effort and cost.

In the above pic, you can see what I mean about the vintage floral designs. Each kit comes in a separate paper bag – these bags show up in many people’s monthly planner spreads. They are way too pretty to throw out!!! I get the planner kit and the washi tape kit.
Here is the Washi Tape Kit – pretty, pretty bag – you get three rolls of washi that are 30 mm wide, 15 mm wide, and 10 mm wide. Check out their website for prices – it depends on whether you get the planner kit and on where you live.

This months’ washi rolls are on the right – palm trees, cacti, and pink flamingoes. The colors and designs in the Washi Tape Kit coordinate with the Planner Kit – I rarely have to go to my stash to supplement my decorating.
Above is the bag for the Planner Kit – again, how pretty is that design????? FYI, I use Un-Du to get the sticker off without tearing the beautiful paper . . .
You get lots of bee-you-ti-ful paper in each kit. The left pic shows two sheets of acetate – one with black stripes and pink flamingoes, and one with the planner girl wearing a green palm frond dress, a pink head wrap, and pink shoes.

The middle pic shows two sheets of vellum – one with a pink rose floral pattern and one has palm trees. The right pic shows 6 sheets of really thick patterned cardstock – they are double-sided and have six different patterns – LOTS of choices.
The Planner Girl makes several appearances this month. She is on the acrylic stamp on the left, the sticky notes in the center, and the paper clip on the right.
Here is a sheet of puffy stickers – flamingoes, cacti, palm trees – a sweet bow planner charm, and an awesome pen with a HUGE gem on the end. Love. Love. Love.
A recent addition are these stitched pockets and shakers.
I got diecuts (more planner girls) and 12 tabs and labels to separate sections.
This washi came in the kit – more planner girls (I Love Them) and green floral – oh yeah . . . there’s my floral.
This pretty little bag holds 6 mini sticker sheets seen on the right.
Here’s a pic of the entire kit – it is so pretty, I can’t wait to use it!!!
Above is my monthly spread. Yeah, so . . . I realized that I didn’t have any June Planner inserts (not sure how that happened), so I bought some from PineConeLife on etsy.

I stenciled “gage girl” using a metal stencil from the April Paper Panduh box. OMG, I just love the planner girl washi across the bottom of the page. I stamped the planner girl on each spread, coloring in the head wrap, bow at her waist and the shoes with a pink colored pencil.

I use the kits’ paper to add interest (ahem, cover up stuff) to the pages. The numbers are from The Reset Girl’s ‘Grace’ collection – the colors went perfectly with this months’ kit.
June started on a Thursday, so I covered up the left page with layers of the Planner Girl acetate over the yellow patterned paper – I like how that came out.
And, here’s a weekly spread featuring the stamp, stickers, washi, and diecuts. Such a pretty space to work in, don’t you think?
