April 2017 Cocoa Daisy Dori Standard Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! Here is the April 2017 Cocoa Daisy Dori Standard kit.

There are three different Dori size subscriptions – standard, personal and mini – I get the standard size.

Above is the sticker from the outside of the mailer box – not sure if I’ve said this before, but daisies are my favorite flower . . .
Here’s a peek inside the box – love that polka dotted tissue paper.

The kits always come in a muslin bag stamped with “Enjoy Every Day.”

Every kit includes a 3×5 notepad designed by arleigh, and a pad of sticky notes, also designed by arleigh. The colors in this months’ kit definitely say spring – bright yellow, light blue, and multiple shades of lime green.
Above is a yellow bow clip from Peonies Paperie, and three clip topper stickers with clips.
There are planner die cuts designed by Just Jaimee of dandelions and butterflies, and six tab die cuts also designed by Just Jaimee.
Above is the polka dotted washi tape designed by arleigh – “a little roll of happy.”
Here is an etched wood bookmark that says “without change there would be no butterflies.” Do Not Use Markers on this – it bleeds terribly!!!!
Above is the Dori – I use it for my business notes. It has a kraft cover and includes:
A monthly Calendar, 3 lined journaling pages, 11 blank (with design) pages, 10 graph paper pages with 3 sections, 10 unlined pages with 3 sections, and the last page has a design in the theme.
You get 6 Cocoa Daisy exclusive 6×8 papers by Valorie Wibbens.
Above are a 5×7 planner sticker sheet by arleigh, a date sticker sheet by arleigh, and tab label stickers by Just Jaimee.
Here’s the entire kit. I love, love, love the yellow, green and blue color combo!!!
Above is the month spread in my neutral Erin Condren. I used the paper in the kit to cover the top and side bar. The ‘April’ is a diecut from Peachy Cheap that I cutout out of Close To My Heart Canary cardstock.
This is a weekly spread – notice the pocket clipped to the upper right page.
Here’s a closeup of the pocket. I used my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board to make an envelope, cut the top flap off and clipped it to the page. I’m using it hold my stickers during the month.

Really . . . Those colors!!!!

March 2017 scribbleprintsco Mystery Ultimate Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! Here’s the March 2017 scribbleprintsco Mystery Ultimate Kit. It’s a 6-month subscription that comes monthly and includes stickers that are not available in her shop.

Look how pretty the sticker is on the mailer – pink and yellow flowers with bright green leaves and light blue accents.
This sticker is on the clear cellophane bag holding the kit – a book and sunglasses. Just had to show you . . .

Andrea reveals this month’s theme as “beachy spring break.” Honestly, I don’t have to go anywhere for a spring break adventure – my backyard, a good book, and some peace and quiet . . . I’m saving this kit for the summer . . .
The sheet on the left is deco, icons, numbers, and appointment times. On the right is a pad of sticky notes with the same design as the sticker on the outside of the mailer – bee-you-tee-ful!!
Here are this months’ freebies – from the left is a sheet of functional planner stickers, a sheet of various colored polaroid cameras, and silver glitter headers.
The sheet on the left has habit trackers, flags, quarter and half boxes. On the right is a functional sheet – check out the glitter “weekend” sticker . . . Oh Yeah . . . there’s no such thing as too much glitter!!!!!
On the left is the patterned washi and headers, and on the right are the bottom washi, and an extra full box (of bikini tops – how awesome is that?).
The left sheet has the hombre heart checklists, and the right sheet has labels, solid washi, and little things.
Finally, on the left is a sheet of full boxes – check out the silver glitter accents and how about the double boxes on the top right of the sheet???? You can use them together or separately – although the right box would have a random arm in it . . .

And, on the right are four ladies in clam shells – you have a choice of skin tone and hair color – talk about customizing . . .

Time Challenge Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! This is a Time Card Challenge.

Allow me to explain . . . my sister was here this weekend and said she didn’t have time to make a card for a friend on Monday. My reply . . . “challenge accepted.” So, how fast can we make an awesome card? Hmm, how about a Cricut ‘Make It Now’ project?

Above is a screenshot of the “Floral Happy Birthday Card” instructions from the Cricut Make It Now “Cards: Birthday” category. It has an example photo, a description, materials, instructions, and project resources. The project resources will tell you if the images are free, purchased and/or how much it is to purchase them.

I wanted to customize the card, so I clicked on “customize” – this means, we can add our own text, or make other changes. Also, the card base was from a cartridge I did not own, there was a $.99 charge, so I made my own. Above is a screenshot of the card in Cricut Design Space.
Here are the cutout pieces. I used my Xyron to put adhesive on the back of the bird. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Honey, White Daisy, Ruby, and Fern. The wreath, label and bird are from the Cricut Lacy Labels cartridge, and the font is Soiree Lettering Grace.
I used a roll of washi from my stash that perfectly matched the colors from the card, to imitate the pink strip in the example.
Here’s the assembled wreath section.
This is the finished card. I’m always amazed at how different cards look by just changing the paper.
And . . . here is the finished card with an envelope made using the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board.

So . . . This card took 50 minutes – choosing the design, choosing the paper, cutting out the pieces, assembling the card, and cutting out and assembling the envelope. Yep, less than an hour to make an amazing card – It. Can. Be. Done.

Purple Bridal Shower Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making a  Purple Bridal Shower Card for my soon-to-be sister-in-law.

Above is a screenshot of Cricut Design Space. The wedding colors are purple and navy – when you make your own cards, you can customize them by using your own colors of cardstock and personalize them with the recipients name. The ring and box are from the Cricut Sweethearts cartridge – it was $.99.
Here is the inspiration for my card. I went on Pinterest and looked for bridal shower cards – Pinterest is my go-to for card inspiration.
Above are the cutout pieces. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in White Daisy, Whisper, Thistle, and Eggplant.
I used the We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile to round the corners.
This is a new product for me – they are Thin 3D foam squares – I ordered them on amazon. I used them to pop up the box and ring on the card – I like that they’re not as thick as the other pop dots I’ve used before.
I got this ribbon at Michaels – it’s 1/2” sheer lavender ribbon.
These pearls came from Joanns – I’m always looking for pearls, they bring a little class to my projects.
Here’s the finished card – I used the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board to make the envelope.

It’s very purple, don’tcha think?!?!?

SVGCuts Gift Boxes

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making SVGCuts Gift Boxes from their Mom’s Garden Gifts Kit. I got an order for 35 small boxes for a bridal tea party shower.

Above is a screenshot of the box lid and bottom. With SVGCuts files, you have to remember to change the scorelines to score and to attach them to the pieces.
Above are all the box lids and bottoms cut out. I used open stock cardstock from Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Joann’s – I went to all three craft stores because the color scheme is pink, cream and mint – I had a difficult time finding mint cardstock for some reason.
This is the box bottom assembly steps. The top left pic shows a bottom with all the folds along the scorelines. In the top right pic, I put white Scotch glue on the tab. The bottom left shows the tab glued in place. The bottom right shows the box bottom assembled – 1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . 4 . . . Easy Peasy!!
The box lid has two separate steps. The left pic shows a lid with all the folds along the scorelines. The center pic shows glue on a tab and the right pic shows the tab attached to its adjacent side.
Part two is finishing the lid. The left pic shows glue along the edge flap, the center pic shows the flap folded over, and the right pic shows all the flaps glued down.
Here’s a finished box.
Above is a box with three teabags inside – how cute is this????

February 2017 Paper Panduh Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! It’s the February 2017 Paper Panduh Kit “let’s go on an adventure.”

Above is what you see when you open the box – a girl standing in front of ‘That Pink Door’ in Palm Springs, California, a wide pink satin ribbon tied around teal tissue paper, and a customized sticker of a flamingo floatie holding an afternoon latte.
Here’s a closeup of the sticker on the lid.
And a closeup of the sticker holding the tissue paper together. She always customizes the kit in someway and this months’ is a sticker with a “j” written on the drink cup.
Inside this first layer of tissue paper is a card that says “life is a party” on one side and on the other side has a note from Emma including a discount coupon on her site, Panduh News and a Photo Contest.
There are two sheets of Paper Panduh stickers.
Two sheets of stickers from Oh Hey Sticker Co. made specifically for the Panduh Box.
Check out this amy tangerine sticker book. It has 421 stickers – whoa, that’s a LOT of stickers.
Adventure stickers.
There were two versions of washi – I got the one with succulents on it. In the center pic are a paper clip with a palm frond and a pair of sunglasses, and a “Planner Vibes” pin from Paper Moon Collective. In the right pic is a pen with a lavender cookie attached to the cap. Adorable!!!!
Finally, here is a set of adventure diecuts – ice pops, flowers, flamingoes, ice cream . . .
Here’s a photo of the entire kit. It is so incredibly full of fun and adventure!!!!

Here’s the month spread – I use this planner to track my social media. How pretty is this combo of green and pink?

February 2017 scarlet lime Planner Society Kit

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! Here is the February 2017 scarlet lime Planner Society kit. The colors this month are so beautifully complementary – pink, purple, green and yellow.

Above is a pic of what you see when you open the box – the paper bag’s design is a preview of what’s to come in the kit – florals (of course), and this awesome color combination.
This month came with some specialty papers – the left is acetate with blue bows, the center and right pics show the vellum.
Above are 6 double-sided papers. Eeeek, so, so, so pretty!!
How about this sweet planner bag? It has a snap on the outside and a zipper on the inside – it’s also incredibly roomy.
The kit always comes with 12 tabs and 4 sheets of clear stickers.
This is a sticky note pad in the shape of a mason jar – I saw a video where someone made these into a shaker card. There’s also a pen (with a super fine point) customized with designs from the kit.
This is a stamp set of banners you cause use as headers.
Washi tape that is also customized to go with the kit.
Three bow paperclips.
A set of diecuts – I included the card from the packaging because it can be trimmed and used as a journal card.
This is new!! There are two pocket cards (somehow I got an extra, hurray!!) and two shaker cards – ugh, I. Love. These.
Finally, in this adorable pink paper bag are two sheets of decorative stickers.
Here’s a pic of the entire kit – I love how they coordinate the themes (bows, florals, mason jars) and the colors throughout the kit. Also, you really get your money’s worth with The Planner Society.

Above is the monthly spread – such a pretty space to work in, don’tcha think????

Tim Holtz Masculine Birthday Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I’m making a Tim Holtz Masculine Birthday Card for my brother-in-law. Guys are particularly difficult to make cards for – there are not as many options for guy cards as for, say . . . children . . . or women.

Above is a screenshot of the card in Cricut Design Space. Hmm, doesn’t look like much, but just wait . . .
This is the inspiration for the card – I went on Pinterest and searched masculine birthday cards.
Above are the cutout pieces for the card. I used Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Nostalgic Collection, Crowded Attic, and Wallflower cardstock, and Close To My Heart Colonial White. I also used measurement washi tape from my stash.
I used a Stampin’ Up sander to sand the edges of some of the cardstock – giving it a distressed look.
I inked the edges of some of the pieces with Close To My Heart Whisper ink – it’s a good idea to put paper under your pieces when doing this to protect your table or desk – just sayin’.
Here are my embellishment pieces. The scalloped shape is from the Cricut Creative Memories – Tiny Treasures cartridge. The banner is from the Cricut Bits & Pieces cartridge. “Celebrating” is the Alex Brush font, and “Your Day” is the Cricut Alphabet font.
This is the finished card. I really liked how you can personalize this card using the washi and circles designating the recipient’s age.

Elton John Birthday Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I made an Elton John Birthday Card for my son-in-law. He’s a huge music fan – all types – vintage, big band, retro 70’s (lol).

Above is a screenshot of the card in Cricut Design Space. I used several different fonts to put the lyrics from Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer” on the front and the inside sentiment.

I love making my own cards . . .
This is the inspiration for my card from Pinterest.
Here are the cutout pieces for the card. The card layers are made from Close To My Heart cardstock in Willow and Sapphire. The color choices came from his love of the Seattle Seahawks.

I used a black Precise V5 Extra Fine pen and a Cricut Gel Tip pen to write the script. The card and envelope are also from CTMH. Finally, the glasses are from the Cricut “Photo Booth Props” cartridge.
Here’s the front of the finished card . . . How awesome did that come out?????
And . . . here’s the inside – lovin’ the glasses – they’re so Elton John . . .

Tough Mudder Birthday Card

Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I made a Tough Mudder Birthday Card for my son-in-law. He works out a lot and is training for a Tough Mudder this summer.

Above is a screenshot of the card in Cricut Design Space. One of the huge advantages of making your own cards is that you can customize them to a specific person and event.
Above is my inspiration for the card. As usual, I went on Pinterest and found this tough mudder picture – it was perfect for what I was thinking . . .
Above are the cutout pieces. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in Black, Chocolate, Champagne and Lemon.

The card base is a free shape, the brick wall background is from the Close To My Heart Artbooking cartridge, the two figures were uploaded from Google Images, the sign is from the Cricut Cherry Limeade cartridge, and the font is DanielBeckerShadow from dafont.com.
Here’s the finished card – I “muddied” it up with a brown Pearl Pen. Aaaaaacccchhhh! Didn’t it come out great?????
