Hi Guys! Come on in and see what I’m doing today! I made some Halloween Planner clips for my planner. I love planner clips – I see them on Pinterest and Instagram all the time – so, I thought I would try to make my own.
Above is a screenshot of Cricut Design Space and the designs I’m making. I used the Edit tab to change the height of each design to 2”.
Here are the cutout pieces. I used Close To My Heart cardstock in White Daisy, Black, Ruby, Fern, Pear, Crystal Blue, Chocolate, Cashmere, Saffron, Raspberry and Autumn Terracotta.
I did the hardest clip first – as you can see in the left pic, there are LOTS of teeny, tiny pieces. Yes, it was tedious, but for me, these are the ones that come out the best. The skeleton costume is from the Cricut “Trick or Treat” cartridge. I used E6000 on the paper clip and Scotch Quick Drying glue on the paper sections. I got the large paper clips from a craft store (can’t remember which one, sorry) a long time ago. They’re pretty popular right now – I see them everywhere.
These are Vampire Teeth from the Cricut “Photo Booth Props”. This was a really easy, and yet awesome clip. I used Wink of Stella to glitter up the lips. Okay, just because it’s creepy, doesn’t mean it can’t also be pretty, right?
This is Teddy Bear from the Cricut “Teddy Bear Parade” cartridge.
Here’s a new design – it’s Sugar Skull from the Cricut CTMH “Flower Market” cartridge – you can only purchase this cartridge through Close To My Heart.
This is Autumn Tree from the Cricut “Create A Critter 2” cartridge.
Here’s Frankenstein’s Bride Frame from the Cricut “Happy Hauntings” cartridge. I had a problem cutting out this design on my Cricut – the paper kept tearing. When this happens, I turn down the paper guide one notch at a time until it doesn’t tear. For this project, I turned it down to one notch below the “Light Cardstock” before it would stop tearing.
The last project is October 31 from the Cricut “Teresa Collins – Chic & Scary” cartridge. Simple but still awesome!!!!
Wow, was this a fun project!!! They came out even better than I thought they would.
I. Love. Them.
Hey, if you’d like to see some of my other projects, check out my Instagram and Pinterest board, and I would LOVE it if you would follow me.
